Winsted, MN (10-21-25) – AWI Manufacturing, a U.S.-based provider of stainless steel equipment for the food and beverage industry, will debut its new Hygienic Enclosure at EATS 2025, taking place October 28–30 in Chicago, Illinois.
AWI’s product development team has been hard at work designing this next-generation enclosure, built around hygienic design principles to meet the stringent requirements of modern food, beverage, and pharmaceutical environments. The enclosure successfully passed IP69K certification in September and will undergo UL certification testing in Chicago later this month. The official product launch is expected in Quarter 4 of 2025.
Engineered to deliver superior protection against water ingress and harsh washdown conditions, the new design offers enhanced durability and cleanliness compared to traditional NEMA 4X models. This advancement allows AWI to better serve industries where sanitation, safety, and reliability are essential.

The expanded enclosure line will include stainless steel options in both single- and double-door configurations, along with a variety of sizes and style options to meet diverse customer needs. While the new IP69-rated enclosures will meet the highest standards for hygienic applications, AWI will continue to manufacture its trusted NEMA 4X enclosures to support a wide range of industries and environments.
