Stainless Steel P Traps
AWI Manufacturing has been an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of commercial and industrial stainless steel drains, trench systems and drain accessories for over 50 years. Our high quality P-Traps are made in our facility in Winsted, MN and we offer in-stock options as well as custom sizes.
What is a P Trap?
A P Trap, as the name implies, is a p-shaped section of pipe that runs between a drain (such as a commercial floor drain) and the main drain pipe. A P Trap has two primary purposes. First, the design is meant to prevent backflow and can stop gas or odors from coming into your business or facility from the main drain line. Second, it can also “trap” debris that goes down the drain, providing a potential stop point before a clog or issue happens further down the line in your drainage system.
Sanitary Design with Long-Lasting Quality
AWI’s industrial grade P Traps are constructed of stainless steel that has been fully welded for strength and durability in the field. They offer a corrosion resistant, sanitary design ideal for use in dairy operations, food production, and brewery environments, making them an ideal complement to our sanitary stainless steel floor drain products.
