We are excited to announce the launch of our brand new AWI website!  It is not just a small change but it is going to be a BIG change and we are excited!

Our goal for the new site is to make your experience better, easier, and more informative.  We want our site to become a source of information for you and a resource you can count on.  How do we plan on doing all that? Well, hard work of course, lots of new content, educational materials, more informative spec sheets and downloads and eventually E-Commerce or online ordering. This process is not going to happen all at once but we have made our digital presence a priority and we will be working on it everyday. We will continue to update content during the coming months and the e-Commerrce portion could make its debut within a year!

This is a vision to take what we have done well for the past 40 years and make it current. Our business was built on the back of hard work and word of mouth. Build a great product and deliver and people talk and more orders come, rinse and repeat. We now plan to take that same principal and go where people talk most often now versus than. Online, of course, websites, forums, LinkedIn, Facebook all the usual suspects. The reality is we all communicate differently today than we did 30 years ago (heck even 5 years ago). We could make an argument that we liked it better when everyone picked up the phone but that just is not the case in 2017. Our customers are looking for us online. The first point of contact many new customers have with us now is through the AWI website and we are committed to meeting them where they want to connect with us, with the best possible experience.

We are in no way turning our back on “Good Old Customer Service;” If you prefer to call us on the phone and chat like we have always done we would be delighted to talk to you. We value those relationships! We are not changing who we are and our core principles; we are improving them and modernizing them so we can support the next generation of word of mouth business. Hopefully with a handshake and a phone call as well, but if it has to be a digital emoji handshake we will be ready! 🙂
